Review content:
This used to be a great little neighborhood bistro but now it's just sad. The new management has trimmed the menu to more standard fare and replaced the celestial wall decor with a big screen TV. I was the only customer for lunch and the waiter seemed to resent having to serve me. Another employee turned up the sound on the TV which played a show full of profanity (this while I was trying to read my book as I waited for my friend to join me.) I ordered the manicotti - not bad. The price was $7 and it came with a basket full of garlic bread, sort of. Seemed more like toasted bread made to look like garlic bread. But O.K. I knew I wasn't eating at the Ritz. Maybe it was because I was the only customer that the waiter went off to do other things, but I found I had to get up and flag him down at the counter not only to order but to pay. Worst of all though: the place doesn't feel clean. The bathroom floors are sticky and smell like urine and there are rings on the tables. They seem to be angling more for the college male drinking crowd - pitchers for $1. \r \r Pros: cheap Cons: cheap
