Bluestone Bistro takes a risk. The restaurant serves with originality. Yes, there pizza tastes as pizza ought but one has the option of many unusual toppings. Another example, they put mandarin oranges on their house salad long before mandarin oranges were being found on salads. Bluestone is also unique for being a pizza place that serves great pasta. When looking at the pasta options I am always faced with wanting too many of them. And if your friend wanted Italian and you were hoping for something else, you can choose from an array of Mexicanesque food or diverse sandwich options. Instead of having a schizophrenic effect, all of this food is tied together with a Bluestone flavor. Finally, the atmosphere is quite nice with artistically painted walls, pleasant staff, and many windows, it is not only a nice place to eat but a nice place to be.
