I'm from the midwest and perhaps have been pampered by the attitude about meat and knowledge of steak back there, but Morton's was disappointing. My waitress didn't know what ""blue"" or ""char rare"" meant, and even after the crack staff finally put their heads together and figured it out, my steak came back overcooked. It continually amazes me that this is considered a good steakhouse in Sacramento, an agrarian community. I find this typical of Sacramentans, however, in that they patronize chain restaurants and hold back the opportunity for truly good restaurants to enter the scene. Folks, be original, there is much better food out there.
