When the zipper on my favorite boots busted I took them to the Austin Shoe Hospital by my house. They told me it would cost at least $40 and be at least 4 months before they could get it done. So I drove accross town to the Golden Slipper to see what they had to say. My boots were mended and back on my feet in 2 days and I only paid $18.75. Plus they are nice and friendly and not annoying and rude like the folks i have dealt with at Austin Shoe Hospital. I will never go anywhere else for shoe issues.
Pros: the best!
Cons: not as close to me, but worth the drive
