I would not recommend this pediatrician at all and would advise you to stay away! At our very first appointment we waited in the waiting room for over an hour (past our appt. time) before the office staff told us that the doctor wasn't even in the office! We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. The office had some questionable practices such as asking if my (not even 20 lb daughter) was in a forward-facing car seat yet. This past week on a Monday, I took my daughter in for an emergency appointment. My daughter has a history of kidney infections and has had a kidney removed. I had noticed recent behavioral problems that insinuated another kidney infection and I asked the pediatrician to test her urine. The pediatrician REFUSED to and advised me that it was simply ""terrible two's"" and to review the website for discipline techniques. Fast forward to Thursday (three days later) when it becomes more than obvious that there is something deeper than the ""terrible two's"". We took my daughter to the ER at Balboa where they determined she did indeed have a kidney infection! I am shocked that, knowing her history, this pediatrician would choose not to perform a very simple urine test. Instead my daughter has been suffering for three additional days and experiencing an infection that could jeopardize her other kidney if untreated. The pediatrician treated me like a real jackass...basically trying to make me feel like a mother who didn't know what I was talking about. As if I just had a child throwing temper tantrums. Please, for the sake of your own child's health, stay away!! I don't want any parent to feel like this or feel guilty for letting a serious condition go untreated for multiple days.
