This is the 1st review I have ever written! It takes alot for me to be impressed! I was blown away on what a hard worker this young lady named Beatrice was! She is very very knowledgeable, a great multitasker she was answering phones running around pulling/finding charts she acknowledged every person that walked in the door all with a smile on her face! Staff has defiantly improved thru out the years I have been going there! I'm sure dr adigopola personally picked her out off all the people who interviewed!! You are truly lucky to have such an amazing friendly, hard working girl on your team! more

I am grateful to have found Grossmont Pediatrics. They were recommended to me by a co-workers client who works in health care. Since wev'e been taking my two daughters now 16 and 7. And my youngest son 6, we have received the best care from Dr. Adigopula and her entire staff. It's not always easy to find a Pediatrician who is capable of covering all of your needs as a parent for your children. \r \r We have been under this Pediatrician's care now for over 3 years and with a child who has chronic asthma, It's imperitive that we have a stable Doctor attending my youngest as we have had some major health issues with him since he was 12 mos and with all the support and care provided to us ongoing we feel very confident that our children are in the best Pediatritions care within our reach. \r Thank you Grossmont Pediatrics. more

Pediatricians I can trust 3/31/2012

Dr. Adigopula was recommended to me from my obgyn when I was pregnant with my first child. From the moment I met Dr. Adigopula on the morning after having our daughter, she was wonderful! As a first time parent, she answered all my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly. I knew I trusted her. This was over 6 years ago and we still have the same confidence in her and her team. From the moment we enter their office, the staff welcomes us and always takes a moment to greet my children. This has been a necessary part of our visits, since this can be a scary place for kids; my children are not afraid of their office. My daughters, now 4 and 6, have not had perfect health – we have struggled with both large and small health concerns; however, Dr. Adigopula and her team have always taken the time to make sure my husband and I understand exactly what is going on with our children. They are thoughtful to follow up when necessary and have always referred us to the best specialists! It saddens me to see that there are negative reviews on this clinic. Our family has received nothing less than stellar service from the entire team. I have recommended Grossmont Pediatrics to my friends and I will continue to do so … try them out! more

We love Grossmont Pediatrics!!! 10/30/2011

We have two children (ages 5 and 1) and we would not change our pediatricians for anything in the world. We have been with them for 5 years and have received nothing short of OUTSTANDING service from the doctors and the entire office staff. The doctors have always been very professional and have shown genuine care and concern toward our kids. In the past 5 years, we've never had any issues with wait time. In fact, they usually go beyond what is expected and try to accommodate us when we need to see one of the doctors without a previous appointment. Our children have been seen by all three doctors and we recommend all of them without any reservations. What makes this place so great is not only the doctors but the office staff as well. They are friendly and engaging. They are a nice bunch with a great sense of humor. And because the nurses are super cool and good at what they do that my kids and I are never nervous about going for an office visit. Simply put, they are all amazing. Because they have taken such good care of our children, I want to send the entire family at Grossmont Pediatrics a big THANK YOU!!! more

Horrible Care for my Newborn!!!!! 10/1/2011

I would absolutely NOT recommend this office to any parent! We were referred to this office from our Medical Group. When I was pregnant with my son I called and spoke with Dr. Clay and she seemed nice over the phone so we chose her as our Pediatrician. \r \r Our first impression should have been a dead giveaway. After being up all night delivering my son, the next day one of their doctors (Not Dr. Clay) literally Rushed in and flung open the curtains in our hospital room then quickly undressed my newborn, gave him a quick scan and handed him to my husband and left. \r \r Waiting in their office is a joke! We waited over 45 min. for a routine appointment. The final straw for me was when my 2 week old son was wheezing and having breathing problems so I called for a same day appointment and Dr. Clay looked at me as if I was crazy then she had the nerve to ask me ""Did you take a video of him wheezing?"" Yeah while I was up all night hovering over my newborn son's bassinet, I thought to myself let me take a video to show the doctor... Seriously!? \r \r Absolutely horrible care... you never see the same doctor, you just see one of the three on staff that day and they always just rush you through. Also the staff is just as rude until they find out that you are not using Medi-Cal. In all honesty, I would NOT take my child to this facility!! more

Stay away! 2/17/2011

I would not recommend this pediatrician at all and would advise you to stay away! At our very first appointment we waited in the waiting room for over an hour (past our appt. time) before the office staff told us that the doctor wasn't even in the office! We decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. The office had some questionable practices such as asking if my (not even 20 lb daughter) was in a forward-facing car seat yet. This past week on a Monday, I took my daughter in for an emergency appointment. My daughter has a history of kidney infections and has had a kidney removed. I had noticed recent behavioral problems that insinuated another kidney infection and I asked the pediatrician to test her urine. The pediatrician REFUSED to and advised me that it was simply ""terrible two's"" and to review the website for discipline techniques. Fast forward to Thursday (three days later) when it becomes more than obvious that there is something deeper than the ""terrible two's"". We took my daughter to the ER at Balboa where they determined she did indeed have a kidney infection! I am shocked that, knowing her history, this pediatrician would choose not to perform a very simple urine test. Instead my daughter has been suffering for three additional days and experiencing an infection that could jeopardize her other kidney if untreated. The pediatrician treated me like a real jackass...basically trying to make me feel like a mother who didn't know what I was talking about. As if I just had a child throwing temper tantrums. Please, for the sake of your own child's health, stay away!! I don't want any parent to feel like this or feel guilty for letting a serious condition go untreated for multiple days. more

Best Pediatrics care 2/28/2010

We started to go to Grossmont Pediatrics soon after my daughter 1st Birthday . I always get the right advice and treatment for my child , as well a piece of mind !\r Dr. Adigopula is a great pediatritian who I do trust completely , as well the rest of the staff.\r We had bad experience with other places after we moved and had to vissit Camp Pendleton and Oceanside Military Clinic . I needed advice and went back to the right place - Grossmont Pediatrics . That was three years ago and I know for sure that is the best place for my child health care. Pros: acurate diagnistics more

friendly pediatric office that all children will love. 2/7/2010

We are a navy family with a 4 1/2 year old son and a 20month old son. We have been going to grossmont pediatrics for almost 4 years. Every time we come into there office that almost all of the staff ether says jon jon were is your hat or that's a really nice hate, they know my oldest sons personality and they know that he loves hates. Its small detail's like that, that make my day a little easier. Because my husband is in the military i go to grossmont pediatric a big majority of the time by my self with my boys. Anywhere else i would dread taking them places by my self, but this office is so comforting and they always find ways to make my sons smile. I'm a young mother and the doctors they always give me great advices and wonderful methods, from picky eating, potty training, nursing, allergy's, to teaching. this office is wonderful and i recommend it to everyone. Pros: the office is very comforting Cons: No complaints more

Great Facility 2/5/2010

My husband and I are dual military member who have nothing but great things to say about Grossmont Pediatrics. they have been our family pediatricains for exactly four years now and i have never had a complaint. the staff is very proffessional and knowledgeable and i love how the Doctors tell it like it is. I remember when my son had his first ear infection and i went out to sea so grandmom had to give the medicine to the baby. well we all know how grandparents are. they try to concoct up some old school remedy instead of giving the medicine to their grandchild like they are suppose too. i didn't know that she didn't issue the medince as prescribed but the ear infection came back when i returned from sea and i took him back to the office because grandmom said she didn't give the medicince. Doctor's know if the child had any medication due to how the ear canals looked so she asked it out son was given all of the medince. I told her that the baby's grandmom didn't give my son all the medication as prescribed. she was so concern and so anal about making sure that grandmom and dad and whoever else issuing medince follow the instructions perfectly because our baby is in pain from his ear infection and it's up to adults to make sure they are well. i loved that because when it all boils down it's about the children and she was firm and direct because of her love for children regardless of who didn't like i. i have ran across some doctors that act like they don't want to hurt the parents feelings so they kind of let them get away with things but the doctors at grossmont pediatric hold the adults responsible for helping the children get well and that's how it suppose to be. i would NOT take my sons anywhere else and i would trust whatever diagnosis i am given. out of 4 years of being patient in this doctor's office i have come to know them and it's hard for me to believe anything less than grossmont pediatrics being the best! i hope everyone else have as great as an experience as i have with this doctor's office. Have a blessed day! Pros: Tells it like it is more

Great Care and Staff 2/3/2010

My son and daughter have been going to Grossmont Pediatrics for the last 4 years. In that time, my wife and I have come to know the staff. Every time we call for an appointment or to ask advice about what we can buy over the counter for all those little colds and sicknesses that all kids eventually get; we have always received quick answers from the doctors, and appointments scheduled to fit out schedules. All the medical staff have treated our children well, and were very personable to my whole family. I have never had a nurse who intentionally pricked her own finger to show a little boy who is afraid of needles that it didn't hurt. It is this type of atmosphere that compels me to recommend that anyone looking for a good Pediatric Clinic, to take their children to Grossmont Pediatrics. You can't go wrong. Pros: Fast, Friendly and helpful more

Trusted Dr. for my girls. 2/2/2010

I have been taking my children to this pediatrician since October of 2004, when my second child was born. My newborn was given a health check by one of the associates of Grossmont Pediatrics. I was happy with the bedside manor and care my child and I received, so I continued to go to them for all of my childrens' health care needs. From routine vaccinations to bronchitis and even help with behavioral problems. They have been able to help me when I lost my vaccination cards or needed help with specialists or had forms to fill out. They have always been friendly and professional. They don't keep you waiting for long. They have never lost any paperwork or any other problems I have experienced at other Doctors' offices. I refer anyone who is looking for a good pediatrician to Grossmont Pediatrics...my pediatrician. I am still searching for a doctor I can say the same about for my health care needs. Pros: Friendly, Fast and Flexible Cons: Hmm? Not close to me anymore. more

Terrible 10/23/2009

we originally went to grossmont because they were close to us. every time i told someone we went there for pediatrics, they told us we were crazy. \r \r my daughter was coughing for a few weeks. we brought her to grossmont to get her checked out. i asked the doc if she needed a chest x ray. she said no. needless to say, the coughing continued. we brought her again. this time they said she probably had allergies. coughing continued and finally got so bad we brought her to the emergency room at balboa. they did a chest x ray and found her to have pneumonia. pneumonia is the number one killer of children under the age of five and should definately be on the radar of a PEDIATRICIAN! Therefore, this place is F*#*ing garbage. Pros: It's close to most people Cons: they're garbage, they wouldn't let me give it 0 stars more
