I like Knit NY, a lot really.
I'd heard all sorts of mixed things about it but Its my favorite place to sit and knit of the yarn stores.
I've found the owner to be sort of cranky and unfriendly on my visits, which sorta bothers me
but the rest of the staff is really nice - so maybe she recognizes that customer services isn't her thing
The yarn selection is excellent. Mostly upscale but in a range that borders on affordbale at its lower end.
The coffee is good
They're open late. (9pm most days! thats very cool)
They're near my train.
Overall I like it quite a bit.
