Review content:
I and two other guests felt like trying something 'new' and decided to give the melting p. a chance. The place smelled horrible, you could even smell it from the escalators leading up to the restaurant. The waiter talked our heads off as if he was giving a lecture in a lecture hall to 500 students (I suspect he was a struggling actor trying to make ends meet during the day as a waiter). He tried to make everything seem like it was so exciting with a tv show host voice that felt so incredibly fake and rehearsed while the manager stood next to him and loomed over us the whole time. The whole meal plan and packages were wayyyyy too complicated and seemed too expensive for what they were offering( what cheese to get ($7), what sauces ($7), what flavor ($7), how it's to be cooked ($7), what salads ($7), blah blah blah omg get me out of here). We decided to make a break for it and headed out after our waiter let us BREATHE. We felt like having a nice, simple and quiet dinner and instead felt like we were choosing our insurance plan or deciding on what coverage to get lol. On our way out we noticed the meals others were having, and it looked like the portions were incredibly small. On a really big oval plate stood 5 clumps of tiny raw and pale foods (red meat, a crouton, a tiny baby potato, etc). Let's just say we were really happy we ditched the place.
Pros: nothing?
Cons: service, smell, overly complicated menu, dark, small space, over priced, small portions, annoying staff and fake staff
