My boyfriend and I heard lots of great things about this restaurant. We finally went with a friend tonight and had dinner- not a cheap dinner- and the food was so very disappointing. Meat was chewy and dry, fish was flavorless, ribs were only so-so... Our server was very good but good service and bad food do not a successful meal make. We were kicking ourselves when we left for going to Uncle Julios instead of our regular hole-in-the-wall Mexican spot, (Taco Prince, if you're interested, right down the street), where for almost 100 dollars less we could have had some of the best authentic Mexican cuisine in town. From now on we won't stray! I give Uncle Julios a 4/10, and those points are for our nice server only.
