We ate at Uncle Julio’s for the first time. The four of us were disappointed with the service, the food and the bill. The drinks up until 7:00 were advertised at 1/2 price. We started drinking at 5:00. The waiter was pushing the specials to the point of being annoying. We drank, had appetizers and entries. The food was nothing more than mediocre. The chicken was overcooked, the steak undercooked and portions nothing to get excited about. When the bill came the drinks, which were ordered before 7:00pm were charged at full price, not the 1/2 price as advertised. The waiter looked like a deer in the headlights of my car. He knew we caught him in trying to rip us off. We asked to speak to a manager, who was a young girl and did not know how to deal with people. They bill was adjusted slightly, but not to what we calculated the correct amount. Not wanting to make a scene, we paid the bill, left a tip and left. ..... But we will not return and I suggest you do not go there, unless you like bad service, bad food and getting ripped off.
