Review content:
The Literary Book Post opened over five years ago when Salisbury was in desperate need of a good bookstore - and they now have it! The Literary Book Post is stuffed to the gills with high-quality reading material. They have an excellent selection of non-fiction (including a Civil War section, or as it is labeled in the store, "Books on the Recent Unpleasantness between the States") and classics, something often lacking at the chain store in the mall. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and will always help you pick out a book based on what other books you like (which is very helpful for yoruself, and even more helpful for gifts!).
My only caveat about the store: they do have cats in the store, and if you have severe allergies, you may want to call ahead to see if they still have them.
