I thought this was a fair price given that they diagnosed the problem correctly and repaired it quickly. In addition, most people don't realize that an additional job of the radiator is to cool the automatic transmission fluid(there are 4 lines total running in and out of the radiator, 2 for the engine and 2 for the transmission). So the repair can take some effort and would require that you lift the car to get underneath it. Not having the equipment to lift the car and not having to deal with coolant and transmission fluids was worth the the additional $145 that I paid to FPM.\r \r People need to be smart consumers. If you go to any place with a big question mark on your face, you're going to end up paying more. If you're an educated consumer and can communicate with the proprietor, you will do okay.
