I didn't call Appliance Rescue for anything. He called me. Granted it was a wrong number, but that wasn't MY fault. Though from his reaction, you would have thought it was!
The phone rang. I saw it was Appliance Rescue- never heard of them. I answered the phone. A gruff man responded with a semi-mumbled, gravelly ""Is so-and-so there?"" Not a 'hello,"" not a ""good morning,"" not a ""could I speak with so-and-so please?""; just a rude ""Is so-and-so there?""
I did not understand the name, so I said, ""I'm sorry. Who are you asking for?"" He grumbled louder, ""so-and-so."" I told him, ""I'm sorry, you've got the wrong number.""
As if he wasn't already rude enough. I got no apology, nothing even remotely polite: The JERK hung up.
That's one jerk I will make sure not to call for ANY type of appliance service!
