Peter in the Wholesale Foods Dept. at 600 Getty Av., Clifton, . is great as is 90% of everything I purchase for my men. And EVERY YEAR - EVERY YEAR bar none, every case of the small Italian eggplant I buy I have to use as fertilizer in our garden. That Buena-Vista Farm in Vineland NJ fails to realize that small eggplant insides should be as white as cotton and free of seeds otherwise they should turn them over for fertilizer themselves. Last AUG. I sent Dom. Scalla a Ltr of comlaint about this same matter and he didn't reply. Yes, Costco, when they have 'em, and they are excellent small eggplants. Eh! $17. a case, no big deal but where am I gonna get them now, I have 17 firemen waitin g on me for eggplant parmigiana. I'm am not happy.
