Review content:
We went to Gracie's with a GROUPON that someone gave to us to try the place. We looked at the menu online and thought it should be good. We went on a Wednesday night and since we did not have reservations, we had to sit on the patio, which was fine. Our server came over in less than 10 minutes to take our drink order. I asked what was on draft, and he only mentioned the mircobrews and not the other beer that they had which was a little pompous. They had other beers available on draft, because I heard another server name them off to her table. \r \r We just got entrees because we are trying to eat better. It took over 45 minutes for them to come out. We were offered no bread, when other tables had some. When our food arrived we had no silverware. We had to ask for silverware and the server brought 2 forks, nothing else. Then we had to ask for napkins. Then we had to ask for another knife. It should not take THREE trips to get silverware. \r \r The food... My husband had the pork tenderloin that tasted like FISH. It was horrible. We were going to complain, but our server was nowhere to be found. I had the skirt steak, med rare, and it was med well to well. It was dry and very overcooked. Again, our pompous server who seemed too busy to serve us, was nowhere to be found. He never offered us desert and did not take our plates away until we stacked them on the side. He then said, "" did I get your groupon already?"" We never even said that we had one; he was just assuming we did. If you are upset by the groupons that the restaurant has, take that up with your manager. If you are upset with the poor tips you are getting, it has NOTHING to do with GROUPON, it is your poor, arrogant service. T hen he came over looking for me to pay the bill, but he had not even brought it to the table yet. Then he put the full price bill on top so I was sure to see my meal was $57 dollars so I would tip accordingly. I have used several groupons before and I always tip my full price bill. UNLESS you are possibly one of the worst servers I have ever had and I gave you 10%, and I know most people would have given you nothing. My husband and I waited tables in the past, and you really have to be bad for either of us to tip less than 20%. \r \r This is why they had a groupon, the service is bad this is why they are not filling their restaurant, and their food was horrible. After the groupon expires, they will be back to a half empty restaurant.\r
