As with the previous reviews, Mr. Cohen does not return your phone calls. He also does not research or review your case until right before the trial. He also does not follow through with the initial plan that was discussed moments before the trial and when I hired him at the begining. \r

He forgot several things which I had specifically requested in my case while in trial. \r
\r
I hired him for an uncontested divorce in 2010. My case is still not over, I have no childern or property with my ex. My ex filed a contested divorce. Mr. Cohen stated that he would make sure that my ex is responsible for the additional attorney fees, since I did not file a contested case. In the initial judgement I was not awarded attorney fees from my ex. \r

He refuses to send me an itemized statement. \r

I had police reports to back up my information and he refused to order them. \r
\r
I did all the research on my case, but Mr. Cohen stated to the Judge that he is charging me a large amount of money for researching the case. \r

He also charged me (per court record) for rescheduling my case when my ex's attorney was the one rescheduling the case. I told him several times I did not want the case continued anylonger and he kept agreeing to continue it. \r

Simply put, you should find someone else that will want to work for you and follow through with want was agreed upon during the process.
