Dave's Rent A Car

Review content:
After reading the review about the $300, I hesitated to use Dave's. Because they had the car I wanted and it was cheaper than anywhere else, I went for it. When you rent a car from them, they tell you that you need a DL, insurance and CREDIT card. If you only have a DEBIT card, just tell them and they'll explain the process. Fortunately they take them at all because most rental companies don't. Because I work in the banking industry, I know that Debit cards are linked to your checking account and the bank (not Dave's) holds the money out of the account temporarily. If she was honest, she'd tell you that she used a debit card and that it was never actually charged, that there was just a temporary hold. Honestly, $300 as a security deposit is nothing for a $30,000 SUV. If I was renting my own car out, I'd want more! Try Dave's and see for yourself.
