Review content:
Steam Express gave my husband a quote over the phone, but when they got here the price was suddenly almost double. They had quoted us $180, and at the house it become $350 before tax. They started working, and I asked them to stop, telling them I didn't want their service and I wanted them to leave. However because they were already working they wouldn't leave the house.
Suddenly the technician adjusted the price lower again when he realized I was upset, but I still ended up paying $248. That is still a lot more than the original quote, but unfortunately we needed our air ducts clean. They also told me I needed my air conditioner sanitized and that I should use a deodorizer as well because I have dogs. I felt like I was being ripped off.
Also, I had a coupon book that I received in the mail, and when I went to open it the guy kept talking to me as if he was trying to distract me. When I finally got a chance to look at it there was a large coupon in there for their service. I didn't even try to use it because I don't want them to ever come back. I even filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, even though they are not registered with them.
