Been to all those other ""St. Louis landmark must-go-there"" (Uncle Bill's, Chris's, etc.) places through the years and was always disappointed - did no one in this town know how to cook eggs properly?? Eggs over medium that have to be cut with a KNIFE because they're as leathery as a turtle egg shell have NOT been cooked properly! At last, our quest ended when we went to Reynolds Roadhouse!!\r \r If you like real food like your Grandma used to cook, you MUST eat here. Eggs cooked exactly as you ordered them, sausage gravy that actually contains and tastes like sausage gravy, the best chicken fried steak this side of Texas and good ol' fashioned home fried potatoes! Throw in friendly prompt service and you have the best breakfast to be found in the St. Louis area - and you won't need to bring 2 wallets to pay for it!
