Review content:
I wanted to try III Forks for my birthday this year. I had heard about it from a number of friends and we gave it a try...and am I ever glad we did. THe interior reminded me of a great old upscale Texas place (think JR Ewing and Miss Ellie) with big band music from eras gone by in the background til the live music began. Our server showed great attention to detail! I ordered the III Forks salad (OMG, was it grande!), the smaller Filet (excellent cut of meat and seasoned to perfection with a crust on the outside and tender on the inside)...my husband had the Lobster Bisque (which he thought was outstanding) and the bone in ribeye. For dessert we had the 6 layer Texas Pecan cake...and it was marvelous. My experience here made me have a great appreciation for gluttony. From entrace to exit...everything was absolutely delectible. I have eaten at a number of steak houses from upscale to shouldn't be open, and this was one of the best dining experiences I have enjoyed in a while. It was pricey, but not out of line for this type of restaurant. I would go back in a heartbeat!
Pros: From entrance to exit...everything was great
Cons: I need more money to go more often
