Review content:
I was up to visit my mother who lives in Quail Hollow are few years back, and John Palmers had just opened up in Concord. We were very excited about fine dining so close so we couldn't wait to try it. It was a busy Friday night and the servers, bartenders were slamming busy. Something happened, not sure what because I was paying attention to my party. Anyhow I look over and I see the manager (a guy), just yelling at a server. This happened by the kitchen but you could see and hear. Its an open kitchen kind of set up. The girl that was getting yelled at started to cry...right in the middle of service. I felt so bad for her. It was busy and than getting flustered like that. WOW I couldn't believe my eyes. That guy was a real A**! What ever happened couldn't be that bad! I used to serve so I know what its like to have a manager that does not know how to manage people, I was so uncomfortable after that!.\r

The food was just so so. Not great by any standard. I was expecting a great meal. I was disappointed all around. I had high hopes. Maybe it's better now, it's been well over a year.\r

PS . Our server did a good job though!
Pros: Close to home
Cons: Bad management
