Review content:
Dr. Grant's office is spectacular for children. . . great views, gameboys, playstations, and brightly painted; however, she and her staff do not match this cheery atmosphere. On numerous occasions, our young child gagged during Xrays due to the uncaring method of administering these Xrays. The bitewing ""screens"" placed into his mouth were adult sized and pressed against the back of his mouth (causing the gag relfex). Dr. Grant's staff became very irritated with this (instead of being sympathetic). For the next round of Xrays some months later Dr. Grant prescribed a sedative for our child to take before the Xray. We gave our child the sedative (as prescribed) and he still gagged. . . again the attending staff was visually indignant. For the third round of Xrays, Dr. Grant again prescribed the sedative. I refused to give this sedative to my child. . . the gagging was due to 1.) an adult sized bitewing ""screen"", 2.) poor administering procedure, and 3.) very poor attitude by Dr. Grant's staff. The gagging was not due to the lack of sedative flowing through my child's system.\r Dr. Grant herself was defintely NOT happy that we didn't administer the sedative. . . in fact she was downright nasty. She rarely removes her facemask even when speaking with parents in the hallway; hence, the less than personal service.\r While her office is very alluring, she and her staff are certainly not interested in the special needs of their patients. I obvioulsy do not recommend her to anyone. Pros: great location and office Cons: Less than personal service
