Going to Langes Meats on the Thanksgiving holiday weekend is part of our family tradition. We have been going there for over 10 years. Whenever we come in the door, they greet us like family. The store has old world charm and Pete and Carl are the best! They have the best jerky around and they have this wonderful peppery loaf that they soak in champagne that is out of this world! They always give free samples and most of the time, you can get something nice and hot out of the smokehouse! This is a first class meat shop and I recommend it to anyone I know that is going to Michigan City! Thanks Pete and Carl for all of the wonderful memories that you give our family every year!
Pros: Location directly across from the Lighthouse Marketplace.
Cons: Pretty pricey but well worth it
