I'm sorry but I've lived in the south and spent a few months in New Orleans. This food was bland. I had the shrimp and grits. The grits and the shrimp were okay but didn't remind me of southern food. Also I tried the mashed sweet potatoes. These weren't good.\r

The service was okay but I felt that some of the servers were multi tasking so it took away from what they were doing. The bartenders gave me more service than my waitress.
Pros: You can get food that isn't available at many places in Portland
Cons: This is far from soul food. It was very bland as well.
