This was my first visit and it was pretty great. Because they are usually so busy we arrived about 20 minutes before they opened and there was a fairly long line even then.
When seated it took about 15 minutes for our waitress to even take our drink order which was frustrating. The dinner menu was small with few vegetarian options and being a vegetarian that made it hard for me.
My boyfriend had the smoked BBQ brisket which he said was excellent! I however had the screen door plate. You can choose any three sides or anything from their local/organic menu or a combination. While this is a good way to try several different things, the combination of different flavors was a bit overwhelming. I did enjoy their creamy grits and their very tasty cornbread. And I would highly recommend their Scarlett O'Hara Number 2 cocktail!
Pros: Great atmosphere, delicious and fun
Cons: long wait, small dinner menu
