Do not rent with this company! Maxwell Realty is the worst rental agency I have ever used in my many years of renting. We moved out after 2 years of renting because the owner of the house wanted to move back in. We left by midnight, and at 7am the next day the owner was inside the house ripping up the floors and completely remodeling everything. Maxwell didn't even bother to check out the property beforehand for any damages. We left it in great condition, but seeing as it was our word against the owner (who conveniently was a lawyer) we got screwed out of our $2,000 deposit. We had to pay to remodel the owner’s house! We complained to Maxwell in a very formal and civil manner. They said it was out of their hands and we would have to take it up with owner but to ""be careful, because he's a lawyer."" What an unprofessional way to handle any issue. Maxwell wiped their hands of this situation and refused to help or hear us through. We lost a lot of money due to Christine’s and the rest of the office's negligence and terrible business practices. Run! It is not worth dealing with the hassle that will come a long with your renting, no matter how nice the home.
