Review content:
I was forced to give my child up by my parents and now I am seeking to find her. I finally got the name of the adoption agency and about 8 months later a got a call back from them. It was like pulling teeth for them to go and get my file from storage!! I was tired of this excuse and finally had a Noterizede letter sent to them stating I wanted my file!! I was apologized to and told the lady whom helped me is no longer there and they did not know about my request. How conveinent I thought...I finally got a call back and was told they have my file, and I stressed I requested an open record. Man the lady whom I spoke with kept asking me what I wanted from the file, and I stated everything I am allowed by law and it doesn't take a rocket sciences to figure what exactly I am looking for. Well, needless to say, I am still awaiting the information and it has been three weeks now so I just called back today and the lady whom handles phone calls stepped out. I left a message and I awaiting a return phone call. Bottom line I was promised pictures to be mailed to me and never got them! I just need closer and they are not helping me, so if anyone has the problems I had the thing to do is 1. KEEP CALLING 2. SEND/FAX LETTERS WHICH ARE CERTIFIED AND IF YOU CAN GET THEM NOTARIZED ...The notarized letter I faxed and saved the confirmation sheet.. Good luck and I wish I would have just used my Clinic Dr. referral because the Dr, had a couple whom longed for a child and were unable to have one...this was my biggest regret!!! It was a clinic in Frankfort, ILL. Megan I believe it ws called...good luck and god bless..ADOPTION IS HEART BREAKING AND I WOULD NEVER DO IT AGAIN..EVER!!!
