I'm searching for my birth mother I was born august 13, 1982 at 8:21am at Chicago osteopathic medical center in Illinois. I was adopted on august 30th through Easter house (welfare agency). From birth until I was adopted I was ""Baby girl ASCENCIO"" which I'm guessing is my birth mothers last name. She had 2 other children before me and was 1/2 Hispanic and 21 years old when she had me. If anyone knows her please help me! I think about her everyday and I feel so many things I get from her because I wasn't taught them, my warmth, my maternal ways.. If she's anything like me she is hopefully wanting to connect with me too. Thank you! more

My name is Katherine, I was born on February 25, 1995 in Urbana, Champagne County, Illinois. I am looking for my birth mother. I do not know her name, however, I know that she was 21 years old at the time, has light brown hair, green eyes, 5'10"", and her hobbies included volleyball and music. Searching for my Birth Mom - initials A.M.M. 3/18/2012

Hi, I was born 9/7/90 and placed for adoption with Easter House/Friends of Children. My records say that I was born in Gloversville, NY. I'm searching for my birth mother, records say her initials are A.M.M. and she was born on 3/3/71 or 3/31/71 (two different dates listed on different documents). I do not wish to intrude in your life, but would like to meet just once to learn where I come from and who I look like. I have had a good life and have a big happy family. Thanks! My name then was Karen Rozeanne Sullivan. I am looking for my daughter. You were born July 16th, 1986 at a Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. I gave you the name Rose Marie at the hospital. Looking for a baby boy that was adopted. 12/12/2011

My mother had a baby boy when she was young and she wanted him to have a better life so she gave him up for adoption. He was born on March 3, 1985 in St. Josephs Hospital. My mother never told me i had a brother until i was sexteen and now i want to find him. She has givin me permission to look for him and since my graduation from high school is coming up I would like him to be there if he wanted. My mother had a completely closed adoption so i have no name nor pictures to go by. I'm not trying to disrupt your life, i just didn't know if you have wondered about us as much as i have wondered about you in just the last year or so i've known about you. Mom still loves you with all of her heart, and she would be doing this search if i would wait, but i just want to meet you too badly. She said she still thinks of you every morning.\r I'm just now starting this long search to find my brother and i just found out this agency has closed. It breaks my heart seeing all these stories of kids trying to find their parents and parents finding their kids. I wish the best of luck to each of you. more

Birthmother Looking For Daughter Born 3/13/91 11/14/2011

My daughter is looking for her daughter/my grand daughter, who was born at Glendale Heights Hospital on March 13, 1991, and was adopted through Easter House. We believe the adoptive parents named her ""Veronica"" but we are not sure. She will be 21 this next March. We just would like to know if she is happy and healthy and loved. Easter House only gave us the standard 3mo and 6mo pictures. She looks very much like her mother. We do not want to disrupt her life. We just want to know if all is well. more

Frustrating to the Max 8/31/2011

The Easter House records are now with DCFS in Chicago, however, I called them to get a copy of my records since I am now 23, and legally allowed access to them. The lady on the phone was very nice, but apparently no one is currently allowed access to any of the records until a judge decides what to do with them, so that is a dead end. However if you are an adult adoptee you can register starting November 15th 2011 for a copy of your original birth certificate by calling 877-323-5299, there will be a $15 good luck all more

I am looking for my son. 4/27/2011

You were born February 26, 1984 at Skokie Valley Hospital and I went through the Easter House Adoption Agency. Your name that I gave you is Jason Michael and according to the letter I received from your parents they liked the name and said they would keep it. I also have a couple of pictures of you - one when you were 3 months and one when you were 6 months. I've been looking for you through the Illinois Adoption Registry for 6 years, always updating my address information, and haven't heard anything. I just found this website and had no idea this existed until now. I want you to know that I think about you always and I would like you to meet your brother and sister, and they want to meet you. Starting the official search and I am here if you want to find me. Seeking adoptee through Easter House.\r You were born Skokie Valley Community Hospital on July 9, 1984 by Dr. Singer. The name on my birth certificate for you will say Robert Simon, but I was told they possibly changed your name to Nickolas, or Nicholas. I have a few photos that were sent to me when you were about 6 months old. \r Easter House gave me quite a run-around about information for many years, and I understood that Illinois had some difficult hurdles to jump for both of us to find each other......you have never been forgotten.\r I wonder what you look like, (your eyes were just like mine) and if you have made a good life for yourself and are happy. While your birth grandfather is still alive and healthy, it would be wonderful for us to find each other. I will officially start putting your information in various registries and I can be found by various social websites as well. I am more than open to be in contact with you. more

To my lovely baby girl, born 2.15.1989 & adopted thru EH. I regret giving you up often, even though at the time I couldn't give you anything but a chaotic and dysfunctional life. I want to re-connect with you and let you know that your birth mother and I didn't throw you away-we were both heartbroken & miserable through the adoption. I OWED 30,000 SO THEY SAID IF I KEPT THE BABY I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THEM 30,000 FOR BILLS AND CARE. I FEEL I HAD NO OTHER WAY TO GO . WITH NO HOME OR JOB.
