We make frequent trips between San Antonio & Houston and are always looking for good food along the way. The GPS led us to Roosters Chicken Grill which is only a short jaunt off I-10 & well worth it. The owner took our order and was very helpful with ordering; as they have a very broad menu which includes more than chicken. I had the Chef's Salad with crispy fried chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, bacon & shredded cheese, served with fresh Ranch dressing made in-house. The chicken was very good & definitely not your run-of-the-mill frozen chicken patty. The salad very fresh! My husband had the grilled Chicken Club on a kaiser bun with fries. He said it was very tasty and still hot from the grill. Pros: Quality Food, clean dining room & restrooms. Cons: None\r
We will definitely make this a new stop on our I-10 trips.
