Review content:
The Carlisle School is really remarkable. What they do for children in pre-K is a delightful, English-Spanish bilingual program in which the little ones grow in social skills while learning together. The Kindergarten program is truly the outstanding thing about this unique school. Not only do they teach both in English and Spanish, but Mrs. Carlisle and Dr. ""C"" take children through the great masters in the Visual Arts and Music; they bring geography to life with foreign languages and songs from around the world; they give children life-long appreciation for poetry and drama; and they do it in a way that can only be called ""delightful instruction."" They take incredible care with ""the basics:"" reading and math are taught to one child at a time, rather than in group settings, to assure that each child is taught with his/her strengths and needs in mind. I am so thankful that my son (now a senior in high school) had the benefit of such an outstanding Kindergarten to get him headed in the right direction.
