Review content:
Daniel has worked his magic my hair for almost ten years now, from when it was waist length, to crew cut, to everything in between. His new space on Grand Ave is stylish but inviting, and calm but cheerful. (If only every afternoon were as peaceful as the ones I've spent sitting in his loft-lounge with foil in my hair...) I especially appreciate the lack of pressure at Jaujou -- I never feel obliged to make small talk if I'm tired, or to buy any products I don't want. I know I'm not the hippest kid on the block, but I still feel welcome at the salon, and have had several women ask me who cuts my hair. Even Frankie, the resident Pug, has silky, sweet-smelling fur. Pros: Talented staff, relaxing ambience, easy freeway access Cons: Parking on Grand is 1 hr. max. so use the public lot or side streets
