We moved a small apartment from DC to Boston in mid-August '08 and HMS did a great job all the way around. Keith Orlandella, Owner/Manager, communicated with us during the entire planning, pick-up & delivery process. Their 2 person logistics team was excellent at both ends of the move. We had one small appliance damaged and replacement was covered by HMS. We, without reservation, recommend HMS to anyone considering a personal move of any size. Oh Yes....their estimate, done by phone and e-mail, was highly competitive and the lowest received. While ""low balling"" can be common in this industry, this was not the case with HMS. Give them your true and accurate estimate of you needs-move size, # rooms, pick-up and delivery timing and they will get the job done at a very competitive cost. Several wardrobes were provided at no-cost and all people I worked with exhibited a ""can-do"" attitude. At the last moment, Keith provided a 2nd, same-day delivery of misc items to a 2nd Boston area location for a very reasonable rate. Will definitely use them again!
