because I'm eating my delicious, old-fashined greasy spoon cheeseburger (called the ""General Lee"") beside a picture of Nathan Bedford Forrest. This is the old southern, ""hertiage not hate"", almost to the point of being concerned that the regular in the corner booth is going to stab my fancy-ass, kind of restaurant. But, be not afraid, this place has some of the best blue plate specials in Raleigh and the owners/staff are absolutely welcoming in every way.\r

I know you've passed this place next to that rat-trap Circus burger...what the hell, take a chance and stop. I am very glad I did. -Whitey
