I have been a patient here for about 2 years now. I'm in the office regularly because I have hypothyroidism. The last time I was there, it was to have my levels rechecked. I was told my levels were high, but when I asked what they were previously I was told, ""I don't know"". It would make sense to me that if I'm there for a follow up that you would know what the levels were before so that you can compare to where they are now. \r A couple of visits before the last, I waited in the exam room over an hour. I was about ready to leave when the nurse came in and told me she was sorry it took so long. She was running behind because she had a sick child. I can understand that, but I think it would've been nice if someone would've come in and told me that she was running behind and asked if I wanted to wait or reschedule. This has become a common issue where they are running late for their appointments, but don't you be late because then they'll make you reschedule. I have also heard the staff talking about patients, even heard them make remarks about me while I was waiting (for over an hour) to be seen. The latest issue is that I had another follow up appointment scheduled and when I asked if I needed lab work, I was told someone would get back to me. Well, no one ever did, so I canceled my appointment. Then they wouldn't refill my prescription because I canceled my appointment. So I told them I would be happy to reschedule if someone would kindly let me know if I had to get lab work done and supply me with the paperwork to do so. Lastly, if you are NOT a vegetarian I don't recommend using this office. When it was determined that I had hypothyroidism, they told me they would talk to me about my diet and nutrition. Well, they kept telling me that I didn't need animal protein to survive and they seem to be pushing the vegetarian diet. I happen to believe that the human body was built for animal protein consumption. Pros: location Cons: wait time, quality of care, lack of professionalism
