Review content:
The Dakota Jazz Club and Restaurant is still one of the best venues for Jazz in the Twin Cities. The seating is great and their sound system is marvelous, a significant improvement from their previous location (Bandana Square). However the food was a little disappointing. The Caesar Salad seems to have lost its zip and the Comfort Food menu item, Chicken Pot Pie, bore little resemblance to anything I remember and was rather bland. However, the Grilled Beef Strip Loin
in Hastings Reserve Jus was perfectly prepared and quite tasty.
Pros: valet parking, great ambience, best Jazz in town
