Review content:
Ever since I had Sushi at Nippon Kai, any other restaurant just can't compare. My husband and I think it's all in the rice and their wasabi is the strongest on the planet. Our favorite is the Dynamite Roll and Spider Roll. Their sashimi is just outstanding and you can tell they use the best and freshest ingredients. We usually go as a larger group, and reserve one of their private rooms. You recieve the hot towels, and the service is outstanding. With a larger party, we usually drop $80-$100/couple including plenty of Sake and Sapporo beer, appetizers, sushi served on a huge wooden boat, and green tea ice cream and generous tip. They ARE strict on a designated driver! You have to take off your shoes outside, so make sure you wear socks without embarrassing holes in them. Yes it's pricy! But we see it as a rare treat ( no pun intended!). I'm sorry the previous review thought this restaurant needed a fresh coat of paint... those are usually the restaurants that the best!
Pros: Best tasting Sushi, service
Cons: language barriers
