I have been living in Calistoga for about 7 months now and heard about this place as word of mouth from a gear-headed friend of mine. I brought my used foreign car in with a few things I noticed were wrong with it. Not only did Victor find out and fix the problems I had (leaky gaskets and oil pressure issues) he would then show me exactly what he did before he handed my car back to me. Very refreshing to see what was done!
Beyond that, the service was quick and friendly. So friendly, in fact, that since we were chatting about a road trip I was planning in the near future Victor looked over my car and found an old belt that needed replacing and showed me where my water pump was leaking some coolant, something that could have ruined my engine during the road trip if gone unchecked. He promptly fixed both of those issues within 2 days of my calling, and all of these fixes were reasonably priced!
Id recommend this service station to anyone who needs good work done quickly, thoroughly and by good people!
