Review content:
I have been taking my pets to Compassion Veterinary Clinic for nearly 10 years. Being involved with animal rescue, I currently have 9 cats and 3 dogs of varying ages, so I am the vet's office often. Dr. Patil and his staff are great with my animals and have been incredibly supportive and compassionate with me during difficult treatments and even the loss of a few of my pets. In the past year and a half, in addition to annual routine exams and vaccinations for all of my pets, they have successfully treated one of my rescue dogs who was heartworm positive and had digestive disorders, another who got into mouse poison while visiting a friend's house, and most recently helped one of my 15 year old cat survive pancreatitis and hepatic lipidosis. And, most recently, they helped my 18 year old cat cross the rainbow bridge after years of trouble with her kidneys and thyroid had finally gotten the best of her. Afterward, they even sent a sympathy card signed by the entire staff, as well as flowers. My one complaint would be about the costs of the office visits. While they are comparable or even better than many area vets, I feel that they could be reduced or waived in cases of repeated follow-up visits and/or vaccinations. When I lived in PA and FL, none of my vets charged a visit fee for vaccinations or follow-ups. And, when you have as many pets as I do, those fees can become excessive very quickly. Regardless of the costs, however, I feel that I can trust Compassion Vet Clinic with my pets health and well-being. And that trust has been well earned.
