Review content:
We visited Dietz for the first time last week ... I think it will be our last. First, the place is a Texas trailer dump. Zero class. Even the single-lane rode into the place is a mess. We could overlook all that, but the deal-breaker was the sour looks and strange personalities of the staff. No one was the least bit friendly to us newcomers and no one was helpful. We got the impression that this was a hangout for locals, and we were intruding. The range master acted annoyed when we asked him where we should go to shoot our shotguns, and he just grunted and pointed in the general direction of the end of the range. A little personality would go a long way, guys! The lone clay pigeon kiosk was in use, so there was nothing for us to shoot at ... no targets, barrels, boxes, stones -- nothing for our $10 a head. None of us enjoyed the experience.
