Review content:
I can't recall the last time a waiter actually displayed disdain for me. It seemed the waiter at Ginza was just too put out to have to do anything for us. He was too preoccupied with lounging in a booth and chatting up the equally too-cool-for-everything hostess. He never cleared our table, never asked about the quality of the meals, was too distracted to refill our drinks and, when we were finished, he just walked by and dropped the bill on the table without a word. As good as the food was, the service was so abysmal we'll never go back. If the owners don't care enough about the customers to hire quality help then I'm not going to waste my money and time on their enterprise. And neither should you, especially when there's a plethora of great Japanese restaurants in this city, most of them hurting from the economy and dying to get you in the door. Ginza is one hole-in-the-wall that ought to be spackled up.
