We've hired Re-Design Remodelers for two residential projects. The first project was for a 1000 sq/ft renovation of an existing 6-bay garage into a dance studio. We were so impressed, we hired Re-Design again to add a two-story, 1100 sq/ft addition to our home.\r

We feel lucky to have found such an incredible contractor who met with so many of our criteria:\r
Performs green building,\r
Always ensures we are completely satisfied at the end of every stage of construction,\r
Always performs exceptional quality work right down to the fine details,\r
Always finishes work,\r
Does not pressure us to make decisions by a given deadline,\r
Cleans up at the end of every day -- no messes,\r
Has a ""Can do"" attitude, even if you suggest something a little outlandish or seemingly impossible,\r
Does not bump his price up in the middle of a project,\r
Maintains the highest level of scruples and honesty, and\r
Keeps an open line of communication, no waiting days and days for a returned phone call.\r

For our addition, we wanted to pursue green construction. When we approached Carl, the owner, he hadn't previously had any customers who desired environmentally friendly building materials and practices, yet, in Carl's typical approach to new challenges, he expressed excitement at the prospect. He even appeared with us in a regular column of Natural Home Magazine titled ""Can This House Be Greened"". While we initially made many promises to research building material alternatives for the wide range of products that go into a building, it was really Carl who took our green intentions and made them a reality by spending many hours researching and talking on the phone with various vendors. The whole Re-Design crew are quite expert in green building and green material selection!\r
