My fiance and I live a few blocks from this place and like to walk over during the week with bottle of wine and a couple of cold beers (BYOB's are awesome, aren't they?). \r

The food is always good and the prices are reasonable. We get completely full on delicious appetizers & sushi for usually no more than $40. I won't say this is necessarily the best sushi I have ever eaten, but for the price it is superb. And I have certainly spent more on worse. \r

Jay (I think that's his name) is a relaxed South Korean guy that always has a glass of wine or champagne with us when we eat at the sushi bar. The quality of his staff varies somewhat. The last time we ate there our waitress was a pretty young woman that was rather salty at first because she was annoyed we asked the front door be propped open. By the end of the meal she had warmed up to us and was telling us about her hometown in S. Korea and the circumstances under which she immigrated to the USA when she was 11. \r
I think her name was Susan.... she was great. \r

Overall, one would have a hard time finding better sushi for the price. I don't think anybody, except the most fastidious diners, would be disappointed.
Pros: Delicious inexpensive sushi, cool owner
