despite the previous postings, i decided to try this place for a first date among all things. I have to say that I was extremely pleased (and relieved) at the GREAT (yes, GREAT) service both my date and I received. We arrived 5 minutes early for our reservation and were seated immediately. Our server stopped by our table several times to check on us (and even once apologized for checking on us so much! but that she just wanted to make sure we were fine). My date commented on how exciting the place looked, how good the steak was, and was glad I had such great taste (that was worth the tip alone). So for what it's worth i had great time, and will recommend it to many friends.
