Review content:
I was apprehensive going into David's Bridal just from what else I had read here, but I still gave it a try. Overall, I would not recommend shopping here for a wedding dress. Their prices can easily compare to other better quality gowns. One dress I tried on didn't even have the pattern match up along the seams. The ladies were overall very helpful, but I got the impression that they hated their job. The dressing room was a very unpleasant experience. The sales lady was practically in the room with me, which was very uncomfortable. Everytime I came out of the room I felt like I was on her assembly line, walk to mirror, don't like it? Next one. And then when leaving we had no choice but to be stopped by the After Hours woman who gave us a 20 presentation on their offerings and we could lock in all the deals she had to offer only if we gave a $20 deposit. My friend fell for it, I didn't. When I got home, I saw in my David's Bridal gift bag that I was going to recieve all of the same After Hours offerings without the deposit (i.e. free groom's tux with groomsmen's rentals, invitation coupon, etc.) Try David's on your own, but be forewarned.
