Review content:
I've practiced yoga at the Y for 2 years to improve my flexibility. As a marathon runner I've found that Yoga has helped me prevent and even treat basic injuries. So when I entered a raffle at the Susan Komen Race for the Cure and won a week of free yoga, I figured I'd give this new studio a shot. Within 15 minutes of my first class, I realized this isn't your average yoga. I run marathons and was winded. The next day, I was sore. Ironically, I was in a class with 2 people completely new to yoga and they were able to complete the class. The instructor (Tracy) was able to coach varying levels of experience at the same time...it really was impressive. Since my first class, I've made an effort to try different instructors/classes (Kate, Gillian, Danny, Liz, Brett so far) and they all were amazing in their own way. I just ran my 18th marathon and clocked my best time ever (4:05). I credit the improvement (-15min) to the work I've done at Yoga Country. If there is any negative to this studio, it is difficult to find the first time. Follow the instructions on the website...my GPS brought me the wrong way. The owner, Amy, said they are going to be putting some signage out front after Thanksgiving.
Pros: teachers, class schedule, studio
Cons: difficult to find studio the first time
