I have lived in Northville for close to 20 years, and lets face it , everyone in the area knows of the good salons in the Novi / Northville area. Over the course of 20 years , I've tried the bettter known salons and I've been to Blush boutique several times and enjoyed their facials and items that they carry in their store. So I though I would give Freda Salon a try as I beleive in supporting anyone who tries to start a business and especially a fellow female. I went and I did love how they designed the place, I know that any start up business is gonna take time to grow, but this place was very dead, I was the only person in the salon on a Saturday, which made me feel umcomfortable. No one was at the front desk when I walked in to greet me. As dead as it was, my appointment tiem was for 11 and I arrived on time and I was told that the stylist Tina was gonna be 20 minutes late as she was running behind. I didn't understand that at all, but ok, I waited and it was not worth the wait at all, I was very dissapointed in the end result . I do not recommend this salon at all, they have a far way to go , it was a terrible salon experience. Instead of looking on ways to improve her businessm the owner will just call and complain to CitySearch to have any review that she does not agree with , taken down as I noticed the other negative reviews taken down about Freda Salon. Some people just cant look in the mirror and feel good about themselves.
