Review content:
I needed to have my carpet repaired, and I didn't want to use a big chain store. I just felt like I'd be at the mercy of the person doing the repairs, like when your car needs repairs and your completely at the mercy of the mechanic. I have no idea about the process and wouldn't know if I was being hoodwinked or paying a lot of money for something that could be done for a lot less.
I decided I wanted to go with a smaller, independent company. I went online and read different reviews and decided to use Dallas Carpet Repair. I decided to email them and see if I got a response. I got a response really quickly, that same day. I chatted with Ed and he seemed very professional. He explained everything to me right away. He knew what he had to do, and how to do it. I felt like he was honest and wasn't trying to up-sell me or pull one over on me. I thought he was great and was very accommodating and trustworthy. Ed was great and I am more than happy to refer him to others!
I also really like that Ed is using social media as a vehicle to help his business get more exposure. He has a Facebook page for Dallas Carpet Repair and went on there and "liked" his page. I definitely think he needs to get it rolling with more activity. He should add pictures of the work he does and more comments to help keep people informed. I think it's a great way to get his business out there and seen by more people!
