It was a great decision and wonderful experience to hire Dallas Carpet & Repair. Ed Doss and his team of Aaron and Joseph were a pleasure to work with. We received two separate phone calls prior to their promised arrival time and they arrived when they said they would. The men are competent, courteous, professional and were very conscientious of the neatness our home. They paid close attention to doing their work beyond our satisfaction and cleaned up after themselves so that our home was left in the same condition as when they arrived but with a fantastic carpet repair and stretching! We had water coming in and just ripped the carpet up and cut it out quickly. Needless to say the cut was not perfect. After new pad and replacing the carpet you would never know we had a problem. Very professional and cleaned up after. more

I needed to have my carpet repaired, and I didn't want to use a big chain store. I just felt like I'd be at the mercy of the person doing the repairs, like when your car needs repairs and your completely at the mercy of the mechanic. I have no idea about the process and wouldn't know if I was being hoodwinked or paying a lot of money for something that could be done for a lot less. I decided I wanted to go with a smaller, independent company. I went online and read different reviews and decided to use Dallas Carpet Repair. I decided to email them and see if I got a response. I got a response really quickly, that same day. I chatted with Ed and he seemed very professional. He explained everything to me right away. He knew what he had to do, and how to do it. I felt like he was honest and wasn't trying to up-sell me or pull one over on me. I thought he was great and was very accommodating and trustworthy. Ed was great and I am more than happy to refer him to others! I also really like that Ed is using social media as a vehicle to help his business get more exposure. He has a Facebook page for Dallas Carpet Repair and went on there and "liked" his page. I definitely think he needs to get it rolling with more activity. He should add pictures of the work he does and more comments to help keep people informed. I think it's a great way to get his business out there and seen by more people! more

Dallas Carpet Repair was responsive to our requests. They sought to do the task in the best interest of us, not just to save us money. They repaired our carpet after some flooding happened around the fireplace. They did good work and also arranged a carpet cleaning for us, which meant no extra work for me. more

Ed did a great job stretching and repairing our carpets. He took the time to explain the process and was very professional. He was able to get the repairs done quickly and also helped us set up an appointment to have the carpets cleaned immediately after he completed the repairs. more
