Just moved to Austin, and found a great new quilt shop in Lakeway. The owner, Jessica, and her staff are super friendly and welcoming. They have a beautiful shop with a big classroom. Best of all, even though I do not have my sewing machine with me yet, they have invited me to come sew on one of their machines! You can also learn to sew on ""Polly"" a long-arm quilting machine that Jessica will train you on. I wish my kids were still young because they offer Parent and Me classes, and many more for kids. Check them out. I definitely recommend The Cotton Cupboard to all quilters and new quilters, and plan on being a regular customer! Hope to see you there!
