Review content:
Unfortunately I can't be real positive about these folks either. I brought them my dead Lawnboy 2 cycle mower, told them that I had already diagnosed an ignition problem and also told them it was likely a bad coil. A week later they called back and said it would be at least $150 to fix it on top of the initial evaluation fee I gave them ( I think it was $35 dollars).
It did not make sense to me to put $185 into an eight year old mower that I could probably replace new for around $300. So I picked the mower back up from them.
It also didn't make sense to me to throw away a perfectly good mower that probably only needed a coil. So I ordered a new coil for about $35 and installed it and gapped it, about a 15 minute job start to finish. The mower ran fine.
I really think by quoting a relatively high price for a pretty simple repair, they were hoping I would junk the mower and buy a new one from them.
